General
Conditions
(1) Commission is not chargeable on cheques
and other instruments tendered for collection by staff members. DD. MT. TT etc. will also be issued to them
without charging commission. Anyhow,
registration charges and agent bank’s commission, if any, will be recovered
from the proceeds.
(2) Remittance made by a customer in any of
the branches of the bank towards his/her deposit accounts except CD account
maintained with any other branch shall be credited at par. For debit transactions charges should be
charged in the applicable rate.
(3) Commission need not be charged on
remittance of share value.
(4) Remittance
by borrowers towards all borrowal accounts of the same customer maintained with any other
branch shall also be adjusted at par.
(5) On cheques tendered by individuals for
collection and conversion into term deposit above 45 days, no commission need
be charged.
(6) Commission need not be charged for DD,
MT, TT and OBC from individuals those who consistently maintaining a minimum
balance of Rs.50000/- in their SB accounts and or having a fixed deposit of
Rs.100000/- and above.
(7) Current Account holders (other than
co-operative societies) with minimum balance of Rs.100000/-, 50% concession can
be allowed and Current Account holders with minimum balance of Rs.50000/-, 25%
concession can be allowed for DD/MT/TT and OBC commission.
