Education Qualification Of CG Home Gaurd
- For the General Category, Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Scheduled Castes (SC) category candidates must have completed 10th standard or Higher Secondary Examination under the 10+2 system in any stream, for ST candidates should have passed the 8th class at least.
- In cases any families have been affected by Naxal violence in Chhattisgarh state, they can get education reservations for General Category, OBC, SC applicants must have completed the 8th standard class. For Scheduled Tribe (ST) must pass at least 5th class.

The male candidates must have an 81 cm chest with 5 cm expansion mandatory and the Minimum Height for General Category, OBC, and ST Male candidates must have 168 cm.
